My Go To Earbuds: Beats Fit Pro

As the proprietor of a travel blog, I often get asked “Since you travel so much, do you have a pair of those big fancy noise canceling headphones?” Well the answer is yes, I have a pair of Beats Studio 3 headphones. Next I get asked ”Do you like them? The answer to that is ”No, I really don’t like them” The response has caught a few people by surprise, but when pushed further I elaborate. First I think my head might be too big for them to fit comfortably. Next since they are over ear style headphones, my ears fill stuffed up when I use them on an airplane for a long period. Overall besides those gripes, they performed as advertised and I use them from time to time at home. Well that last part was true until I found my go to earbuds, Beats Fit Pro.

This is a straight to the point review, so let’s go…

Price: $199.99

Colors: When I ordered my pair they came in four colors (white, black, sage gray, and stone purple), I went with the sage gray.

Fit: Lightweight and fits in my ears snugly for extended periods.

Battery life: I use my earbuds almost daily for walks and for extended periods during travel. I usually charge the charging case after about 20 hours of usage which seems fine to me.

Sound: I like a pair of headphones/earbuds that can provide a good amount of bass and these do that well. They also work well for phone calls with the microphone picking up my voice well.

Active Noise Cancellation: Of course they don’t cancel out all noise when ANC is turned on, but I was surprised by how well they worked. I pop them in anytime I’m in a noisy environment and need a little peace.

Noteworthy Features: Automatic Ear Detection is a feature that I didn’t know that I needed. The feature stops the music when one of the earbuds is removed from the ear and resumes the music when the earbud is returned to the ear. It’s great for when I’m approached by someone to talk, so they don’t hear my music blaring while I fumble around to pause the music.

Final Words: Overall a great pair of earbuds with crisp sound, booming bass, and good Active Noise Cancellation. This is not a paid promotion, just a recommendation from one traveler to another. If you’re looking for a great pair of earbuds, definitely go for these.
